I’ve seen way too many cases of men who convince themselves that being straight is ‘great,’ or the right thing, when deep down they don’t feel that way, and end up living like that until they die—married with kids, but unhappy. The article also frames it as if there’s some ‘hope’ for the world, almost suggesting that being gay is something negative. You can talk about another real major issue that is actually going on... The real issue is the lack of connexion between individuals in general. This is could have be an interesting commentary on the 21th century’s individualism. Our perceptions are altered bc of some propagandas online. Making friends and lovers is certainly harder because there are less underground cultures or activities outside of internet. We focus less on our local groups. It’s maybe more the faults of big compagnies, politicians and capitalism that the culture is getting more individualistic. Instead talking about your concerns in this insulting, biased and egoistic way, build bridges between people with your words or choke on your biggoted opinions. So laughable.
