This is just how it's going to be now. Amazon studios announced an AI-based children's programming studio last week where they will make cartoons for kids using AI technology. 2 shows are in the pipeline for now and no one is talking about it.

I mean I aint watched since like covid so idk

But I saw shakesqueer. So i feel like the acting challenges were bad already anyway and no one would notice

I think they are targeting kids BECAUSE they don't know better, so they are an easy demo to go for and normalize it for the new generation. But maybe It's just a conspiracy theory...

Well, I for one am shocked that the cinematic soulful masterpiece that is a rupaul film is cheap and shiddy. I expected nothing but pure cinema art

The fact they’ve used AI in this has screwed itself over AND potential future queer centric movies.

Because the film was already under fire for being LGBTQ+ and purposefully campy, and it took a lot of effort to get it in cinemas. Now even a portion of the already small percent of potential viewers is gonna be even smaller.

I was going to go and watch it to support it and have a good time watching it, but now I’m not because I will not support generative AI.

But if this flops then nobody is gonna take queer cinema that isn’t drama seriously at all.

One of the older writers sent a voice note to Trixie on her podcast a month or two ago and they still had writers coming up with challenges at least up until season 17 apparently they’re just genuinely bad writers.

The best thing they ever made was Shade: The Rusical and Glamazonian Airways but like all of drag race it became a snake that eats its own tail.

One thing works out so they recreate it thousands of times over
