Was Jersey Shore a show you ever watched?

I watched the first few seasons. It was pretty prominent culturally where I lived since I am from Jersey.

i was watching MTV at that time so i watched a little bit of it. i still remember the guys from that show spray perfume on their underwear just to get a girl or something, and Snooki with weird obession with pickle ?

Yes a few random episodes but not often. I saw maybe 3 or 4 episodes

 

I whatched "real world" which came out a few years later but quickly got cancelled lol. It may have been too woke for its time

not really BUT I used to be an avid watcher of Geordie Shore which was the UK equivalent from my home area of the North East -- ironically, none of them were really Geordies because they were from every city but Newcastle. And I even went to a few clubs when they were hugely popular and met them while they were filming.

Then we would sit down, order pizza and watch as a fambly.

I never watched it. Only get recap from some friends I used to hang out with back in the day. They loved the show.

I was a huge fan of the old VH1 shows like Flavor and Rock of Love, Charm School, I Love Money etc. and they were these trashy shows I'd watch just for fun. When Jersey Shore came out I wasn't that interested in it so I didn't watch it til a couple years later during some summer break where you find something online and you binge watch like 2-3 seasons in that one week. It was addictive at first but then it got super repetitive, Sam and Ron's relationship was exhausting to see but I really loved Snooki and Jennie's friendship.
