But there were other performances I thought she does a nice balance

Defmix100 7,061
Obviously her voice got warmer and richer over time but sometimes she pushes an "accent" don't know how to describe it
Schwerk 7,453
The verses of Lovedrug make me melt. Also love Sinners Prayer. The relaxed lower register feels like a warm blanket. Happy Mistake is always a treat and so are Bang bang and Lush life. I love her drama and she is a theater kid at heart, but she can be a bit too much sometimes. In Perfect Illusion for example her voice completely overpowers the 'disco' music, but not in a good way. Love her growls and screams but I can't listen to Paris Artrave cause she screams so so much during that one that it looses impact. Same goes for put your hands / paws up during Mayhem Ball. I'm a die hard LM for 17 years, but I was tired of her screaming this 100 times during one show. It used to feel more organic when she'd scream during a concert. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

Defmix100 7,061
This performance was a great balance of warm rich vocals but not going dark
BELLYACHE 1,815
I miss her sweet and airy raspy voice from TFM and BTW, if she sang in that way but with her refined growls today I would have liked a lot of songs better or better period. I’d love to hear disease abra and perfect celebrity in that voice 😩😩 1
Taumaturg0 1,355
Don't like: Enigma residency LOVE: Cheek to cheek/ARTPOP era (angelic vocals from that era), Mayhem era (the best her mix belt has sounded and her most experimental era vocally both tonally and range wise) the rest of her vocal eras I like to varying degrees, but overall my views are positive Edited May 22 by Taumaturg0

AVeryGagaHolyDick 31,992
My favorite vocals will probably always be from 2008 to 2015. She sounded like a natural powerhouse. Since then, she often either sounds like she wants to prove she can sing or she completely neglects the vocals in favor of the emotion, with like no balance to me. Her officially-recorded performances rarely sound great to me nowadays. She usually sounds so much better when the cameras are away, in her element, at her own show with her fans. She sounded reaaaally great during the Chromatica Ball and the MAYHEM Ball. Her best vocal performance has to be the Sound Of Music tribute, even though there's a TON of amazing performances from that time. If I Ever Lose My Faith In You, You've Got A Friend and so on... Her worst (other than her drunk performance of Yoü And I at the GRAMMYs after party lmao) has to be her rendition of the national anthem at Joe Biden's inauguration. Oh my god, that was painful Edit: no, actually she sounded really good when she was drunk singing Yoü And I. It's just the way she plays the piano, she hits all the wrong notes you can think of lmaooo Edited May 22 by AVeryGagaHolyDick
