Yup, I feel like she explored that genre to the max now and she can hopefully let it go. There is a reason why people liked ABRA and GOE more than TDD and SOAW.

Another MAYHEM era would be great, without the quality gap between some of the songs and videos released. I love how she gave life to the entire album from the start thanks to the show

Probably referring to What we know about the recording sessions before Gaga pivoted directions and created the concept that is mayhem. She talked about it herself. That perfect celebrity was the initial sound she was going for while making the album and also looking back to Frankensteined

Girl please not this narrative on 2026 😭😭😭 she talked about it precisely the opposite way why are some of you still gaslighting yourselves? My mind can't comprehend the fact she said Vanish Into You was the first piece created during MAYHEM sessions, the rest came in and lastly Perfect Celebrity - wanting for a moment to change the whole sound to fit it, as it was created after many other tracks - but some of you STILL choose to think otherwise... Like what's the neurological process behind this 😭

For some reason, my brain says that it'll be similar to ARTPOP. Idk why. It also depends on what you mean by "Which era will LG8 be most like?" Are we talking sound? Aesthetic choices? Message? Overall vibe?

I think she learned a lot of lessons from MAYHEM. She's never been more creatively charged than she is right now since BTW or ARTPOP. Think about those gap years between Chromatica and MAYHEM. They were rough. And that seems like a completely different Gaga than the one today. Remember when it was considered a good day when she posted something other than Haus Labs??  

I know the common theory is that she'll continue the synthy/electronic/gothic route she expanded upon in Requiem, but Gaga always zigs when we expect her to zag. Even though I'd love for her to do that, I don't expect her to.

Like the way we got the OG MAYHEM and yet people still talk about a late stage concept that never came into fruition like it was the original 😭

What's funny is, knowing Perfect Celebrity came in later on and Requiem exists (which fits it, at least when it comes to not committing to the funky-groovy aspect), it's likely LG8 will follow its path (and Killah in a way). But the very same people will blame her for sticking to the same sound and will go mad over a supposed OG LG8 or sumn... Yikes, mass hysteria

The neurological process is she said it in an interview on record that the songs she was wanting to make at the time of its creation were heavier. She literally said that. I don’t know why you and others want to pretend that’s pulled out of thin air when the source is Gaga herself. It doesn’t really matter to me that the term “original mayhem” might not be the best way to describe it but it’s not some far reached conspiracy that the album she was  considering was almost different. Perfect celebrity was also the working title for the album for a time, so I don’t really know where you’re getting the information that it was created last.

I’m just explaining that the person whose original comment you replied to was referring to what Gaga said about perfect celebrity and how it almost reshaped the record. “Original mayhem” might be a bad descriptor but it doesn’t erase the fact that she wanted to reshape the album to fit PC, and then decided to integrate it into the running tracklist she already had, furthering the “mayhem” concept. We don’t know every single thing about the writing of the album so obviously there are going to be people who have their own ideas for how the record could have turned out.
