Mte whenever I want to listen to a podcast when I clean, and can’t find one I just use YouTube and listen to a long form video essay researched and made by a content creator. I also saw a response to this article on Twitter today, someone actually said they can’t stand “movies or shows that are an hour plus” so this is “perfect” for them we are now at the point where people’s attention spans are so short they can’t even be bothered with the already butchered TV and movie runtime format 1 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sadly this is what modern life is becoming. Unique creativity is becoming obsolete or seen as less than; for ages people have viewed a career in any form of art, whether it’s acting or painting or beyond, as obsolete UNLESS you become famous and rich for it because it doesn’t give you something tangible straight away like how manual labour physical tires your body or a pay check is assured. People also want everything faster and on demand and extensively tailor made for them, that’s why AI is becoming so prevalent now. Because we’ve taught people to be selfish so they believe they deserve a podcast that is uniquely there’s even if it uses stolen information and stolen identity. Same goes for Gen Art. It’s because people can’t be bothered to become disciplined to be an artist or have no creativity so they steal someone else’s discipline and creativity. AI has already ruined the daily Universe/Space youtube videos I loved whatching Ill press an interesting title and instantly spot AI narration and im just like oh dear god not another one. Always souless, generic and it repeats itself a lot in different wording. Flat narration that has no actual point of view or feeling (humans naturally put their two cents into subjects), uncanny valley imagery. Homogenous art styles it's all very obvious i feel.
