It's a good song, love the wirtting and delivery but sonically it's kind of like a sore thumb on Mayhem, so I generally listen to a fan edit that adds some guitar riffs and drums. I do really enjoy the Requiem version thou.

I've always been a fan of it - maybe took a bit longer to warm to it than some other songs, but I think a lot of us will have a special place in it for seeing her close the Mayhem Ball with it. 

 

But I will say this... The Requiem version, I think, is the most gorgeous thing she has ever produced. It is genuinely breathtaking. Especially with that interlude latched on as an intro of sorts.

ME TOO! Except the hated at first part. I’m so obsessed with the Requiem version as well. 

It’s now my #2 on Mayhem after Vanish Into You.

To think, Gaga wasn’t sure about it on the album but Michael insisted the fans would like it.

I actually love it. Quite a lot. And those of you who don't get it being on MAYHEM I'm afraid you still have not understand why is rightfully there. Think about that Sarah Jessica Parker edit where she walks down the street and HBDUWM plays along. That's the feeling I get on the overall context!
