Bring Me the Horizon singer suffers mild concussion after fan throws phone at him

Bring Me the Horizon frontman Oli Sykes suffered a mild concussion after someone in the crowd threw a phone at him during the band’s concert Monday night, May 11th, at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.

Fan-filmed video captured the moment Sykes got struck in the head with the phone while performing “Happy Song” early on in the set, with the singer exclaiming, “Who the **** just threw a phone at my ****in’ head?”

Subsequent footage shows the singer appearing to struggle a bit through the performance, although he did manage to finish the show. However, the band did cut out the song “YOUtopia” and the singer didn’t make his way into the crowd like he usually does toward the end of the set.

Sykes mentioned, he expects to be okay for tonight’s show in Kansas City.
