Bebe 17,282
60 Minutes Australia just released the interview they conducted with the siblings of the Cascio family, who are speaking out about the sexual abuse they endured for over a decade. The interview goes step by step on how he managed to utilise his power and influence to integrate himself into the family, groom the children, and normalised their abuse. It’s almost cult like how they all understandably thought of MJ as this God like figure and how he trained them to deny abuse and cover up evidence. The photos of MJ with these children, where it certainly looks they are under the influence, as they discuss MJ giving them alcohol, Vicodin, and Xanax, are shocking. This was the family MJ called his “second family”. Rocking up unannounced in the middle of the night, staying with the family for up to months at a time and taking the kids on a world tour with him and without the parents. I know so many will dismiss their story because the family defended him previously and claimed no abuse - but they still to this day describe him as this “fun uncle” figure who was such a huge and important part of their life while also abusing them. They very clearly hadn’t processed their own trauma yet. I hope the family receives the compensation and reparations they deserve from the Estate. 3 3 3
timdrake 1,683
I don’t believe them for a second. They’re longtime grifters of the estate in my opinion. Like, they put songs on the 2010 Michael posthumous album that were sung by a soundalike and NOT Michael. They’re scammers. (Even Michael’s own family took issue with the authenticity of these songs, so it’s not like they were acting in the interest of the family/estate.) Also Frank Cascio released his “My Friend Michael” book less than a year after MJ’s death, profiting off his dead “friend”. I’m very sensitive to the topic of SA, as I’ve seen it destroy the lives of people around me, but I don’t trust these scammers one bit. Also they waited until the release of the movie to come out with this report… convenient. Edited May 10 by timdrake 12

There certainly are a number at this point and he isn’t the only rich person in the world. If you watch the piece, the family discusses the grooming and training and explain the pressure they felt to defend him. Michael was a genius and one of a generational talent. His work is groundbreaking and super progressive for its time. It’s hard to reconcile that with the idea he is an abuser, but I would encourage you to watch the interview with an open mind.

I’m talking about this specific instance, please don’t put words in my mouth. Bebe 17,282
Just now, Lucas said: I think there is a conclusion to pick up here That childhood abuse is complex, especially when committed by someone so close and like “family”? That child sexual abuse can take time to process, and that they didn’t jump in on the accusations when they first appeared - in the years after his death and in listening to the stories of others they were able to finally work on processing over a decade of trauma and abuse? You can see the photos of these kids drugged up… sitting half naked on his lap… The behaviour you see in the clips is not normal.

Not putting words in your mouth, trying to clarify your stance in good faith. I would recommend giving the interview a watch.
Bebe 17,282
For those with doubts, I think it is hard to watch the behaviours from MJ in this story while listening to the stories of these children being groomed, isolated and abused for over a decade and come to the conclusion of: “How could they NOT have come out about this YEARS ago when there were other accusations”. I think the reasonable person would admit that such abuse starting at such a young age from a loved and trusted adult and important figure in the family would take years to process and would give the family some grace. PartySick 171,263
I was wondering who would be the first ones to try and ride this boost to the bank Shame tbh. He was good friends with the whole family since the 80s and him and his kids even stayed with them on holidays and after he left Neverland. Just goes to show you can't trust anybody. MJ was, is, and will always be innocent Whimsical bitch 2

Michael is innocent until you can't make money off of him anymore. You've written and published all your books, you're not landing the jobs within the estate or industry that you felt entitled to, or you've passed off your fake songs to be put on his posthumous albums. Then you suddenly "remember" As a survivor of both childhood and adult SA, these people can get f*cked and anyone who believes them is doing an enormous disservice to actual victims. Don't say you care about victims when you're sharing the lies of bitches with dollar signs in their eyes. Whimsical bitch 3

Courts have already ruled against Robson and Safechuck when they sued for millions that even if MJ did do these things (he didn't, but if he had) the estate bears zero responsibility. That's why they always end up hitting the media. They have to sell their story 'cause they won't get a dime in court What's even funnier is I have a feeling this new generation of fans will actually be smart enough to see through this garbage unlike the fools falling for it for the fourth time. ANVEEROY 64,418
So many accusations, so MJ fans are saying all lies. All the people? So many folks? I don’t know how people keep defending. He really wasn’t right… READ MY...BODY LANGUAGE!
DpHitch1992 1,186
Anyone who still believes Michael Jackson was completely innocent is being incredibly naive. The textbook grooming behaviour, the constant sleepovers with children, the settlements, the witnesses, the shifting stories, and the number of boys involved over decades are massive red flags on their own. And what people always ignore is that several accusers defended him for years before later admitting abuse — which is actually very common in grooming and abuse cases. You don’t have to erase his music career to admit the situation around him was deeply disturbing. What’s most important now is supporting victims and creating an environment where survivors feel safe speaking up, even when the accused is famous or beloved. I genuinely hope fan communities like GGD understand that. There’s just no way Lady Gaga herself believes every single accuser is lying — especially considering how vocal she’s always been about supporting survivors. And honestly, the fact she’s barely spoken about Michael Jackson or publicly worn his clothing since Leaving Neverland came out says a lot on its own. I stand with Jordan Chandler, Jane Doe, Jason Francia, Gavin Arvizo, James Safechuck, Wade Robson, the five Cascio siblings, and unfortunately likely many more victims we still don’t know about yet. 2 1
