Machete Kills - It was a fun sequel to Machete!

Sin City: a Dame to Kill for - Meh, the first one was better, it feels like this one had nothing to add.

A Star is Born - It was fine, not the masterpiece that some of you claim it is.

House of Gucci - It was nice, and better than people say it was. Some flaws and definitely would have worked better as a series, with more details and less ellipses.

Joker FAD - Amazing, I could go on for decades about how good it is, and it gets better every time I rewatch it 

The Devil Wears Prada 2 - I don't know, I'll probably watch it when it's online. It doesn't have good ratings though, which is not surprising, I expect it to be below the first one which is already not great.

Well I loved the first Joker movie and I thought the 2nd one was awful. there is no plot in the 2nd movie and it undermines Arthurs character and everything that was built up in the first movie. Gaga has barely anything to do in it and I still can't believe *that* is how he stops being the Joker(if you know what I mean). It's truly awful and you can dislike it without being an "incel" and recognize it's flaws and issues. I'm glad the 2nd one flopped at the box office and has the reputation it has because it is deserved and hopefully Todd Phillips is excised from Hollywood and is never allowed to work again for what he did.

Haven't watched the ones with cameos but I'd say ASIB, hands down. Best story, script, songs, on-screen chemistry, everything. She should've won the Oscar for her acting that year (still bitter that she lost it to that atrocious turn from Olivia Colman, something which shouldn't even have got nominated). Her acting was better in HoG and was a more challenging role but the movie was average. And as for JFAD, her acting was good and would've been even better if she'd been given more to work with. She still has to find THAT role that finally gives her the respect. I hope with being patient and accepting small bit roles in successful movies like TDWP2 that she can build on that.

Agreed, although I think your last sentence was a bit much. But there was much to be said for how Todd seemed to make this movie almost as a piss-take as revenge for being essentially forced into making a sequel that he didn't want to do. You could almost sense the bitterness through it, especially in that ending. I genuinely thought the movie wasn't over yet, that there had to be more to come. It just felt like a great big eff you to all fans of the original. You definitely don't need to be an incel to enjoy the first movie. I saw the first one at a bad time in my life and maybe that helped connect with a character who felt down-trodden. Anyone who's ever been bullied and had low self esteem from being in a bad situation could relate to Arthur on some level. But with the second one, even though I saw it at a better time in my life, I couldn't connect with him at all. Joaquin was trying just as hard but it wasn't coming through. Felt like a different director made this one and the trailer was made in such a way that it looked brilliant but it was all artifice. The first one was dark, poetic art. This one seemed like it was an idea hastily thrown together in a few weeks and never fully realised.
