Solange looks totally blank-faced and cold in a "Yeah, I did that s**t" kinda way, the bodyguard looks like wtf, Beyonce looks serenely happy and content and Jay-Z looks flabbergasted and like he's thinking: "F**k me..." It's truly an iconic photo. We will never truly know what happened. But what is clear is that Solange was defending her sister. And if the subsequent album a few years later tells us anything, it's that there's a huge chance Solange knew he was about to go off and cheat and Beyonce was likely happy she was being defended, which is is why she stood silently by and let Solange attack him, hence her smile afterwards. It was a look behind the curtain for sure and shows that no one's life, not even that of billionaires, is perfect, no matter how carefully curated Beyonce tries to make it.
