I haven’t been able to finish SOAW, if I’m even allowed to say that. 1

DESTROY UR DISEASE 19,794
ngl Shape Of a Woman is kinda growing on me, I think I'm slowly starting to see the vision behind it but still FREAK OUT FREAK OUT FREAK OUT wins I can smell your sickness I can... 1 1

Stupid Love’s lyrics are definitely basic and, at times, a bit cringey, but I’d say at least the overarching concept is clear. Is it bad that with the shoddy mixing I have next to no idea what she’s saying besides “violet in her eyes”, “grave”, and “shape of a woman”? Whereas on SL that is too well mixed so I hear every cheesy word clear as day

But that’s fair, re: lyrics. I still think the overall sound/composition/production on SL clears, irrespective of cheesiness We have forgotten our public MANNERS

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy 1

If I put my personal comforts aside it is technically better. But hearing “I gotta find my peace! Gotta have faith in me!” made me feel like she chewed and digested born this way. Shape of a Woman…well it’s poo but it doesn’t remind me of other poo so I get less sad lolololol

Eh, I think that even with some of the more abstract lyrics on MAYHEM, there’s still usually a clearer overall trajectory/narrative. I also think the rhythm and phrasing of SOAW is insanely clunky. Like SOAM, I think you justify basically every lyric, whereas SOAW? Mary, WHO is this song to, what is the context etc etc? I mean, the song is about Adam, Lilith and Eve, first verse is about Lilith, the toxic relationship with a demon then the other woman came.. Eve.. the shape of a woman is when Eve was created from one of ribs and god changed it's shape into a woman.. verse 2 is about the snake and all.. It's pretty obvious So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy 1 1
