When she was doing her thing with Chris Olsen, that was fresh and innovative at the time, and it resulted in a hit that is going to hit a billion streams this year. But this album was just more of the same old, there was no novelty and no excitement around it. She also chose very bad singles. She has to change up her persona, do something unexpected. I don't know if she has that in her. 

Like when Gaga did C2C, that was something new from her. Meghan has to find the side of her artistry that she can sell in an authentic way that was not done before, and also has mass appeal. Of course she is signed to EPIC so that brings it's own limitations.
