Dua Lipa helps purchase life-saving truck to Ukrainian frontline

Ukrainian military medics have thanked British pop singer Dua Lipa for her help in delivering a vital new pickup truck that is set to save lives on the frontline.

The vehicle was donated to Ukraine’s First Separate Medical Battalion by the UK-based Driving Ukraine project, with support from Dua Lipa’s Service95 initiative, which raised funds during a charity event in March. 

“The probability that Dua Lipa would help provide a vehicle to our unit might not be high… but it’s never zero,” the battalion said. 

“We are grateful to Dua Lipa, Service95, and the Driving Ukraine initiative for this powerful pickup truck,” it added. 

The medics said the truck “will help us carry out life-saving missions in the combat zone.”  x
