We had a fanbase shift in the last 6 or so years, we got younger fans and we now have a portion of the fanbase who want her to make Adult Contemporary or old white guy 70s Heavy Metal music for some reason. Let her make GAY AF music again. The closest we got for YEARS was Chroma and people shat on that too because it wasn’t “weird” enough.

There is a thread on this site of users bragging about how they still haven’t listened to the song. This is also the same fan base that:

- signs petitions for an act 2 of an album that they claim is underrated that has tracks such as Donatella, Fashion!, and Jewels & Drugs. One of which was performed with Ru Paul for a family Thanksgiving special where she was dressed as a condom. 

- claims an album that contains Black Jesus + Amen Fashion and Fashion of his love is her best album.

- thinks Babylon is the best song off Chromatica and that the Breemix should’ve been a single.

Something just feels off about some of the backlash to this song and I can’t qwhite put my finger on it.

Well all of these songs except Jewels & Drugs are better than Runway
