gagacabana 3,213
It's been a while since the last time I've said this so... the applause cover Was the image that changed my life. Kinda like this level of life-changing: I don't believe in the glorification of murder, I do believe in the empowerment of women

Genuinely iconic. We have forgotten our public MANNERS 1

Her performance is great, the looks are great, the choreography is great. Genuinely one of her highest replay value MVs in recent memory (if not of all time) Great choreography yeah, but with bad direction + a boring as **** location(it feels like we're watching rehearsals instead of the inner battle within Gaga's mind). I hate the stupid corny zooms(I usually love Gaga being a corn on the cob but here it feels like the cornyness stems from laziness rather than intent) the pan transitions don't work at all, and it feels faux creepy/weird. It's kinda like the Anti-Disease MV, where that MV contained the best and most daring parts of the Mayhem era, the Abra MV is basically a culmination of every little peeve I have with the Mayhem era dialed up to 100. I would never out irght say I hate the MV just because Abra is such an amazing song, but it certainly deserves a better MV than what we got. Economy 52,107
Its a bit apples to oranges. Applause is more all over the place chaotic. Ironically its more Mayhem and abstract Abracadabra is also abstract deep meaning in its own way but the cheoreography, angles, sequence etc feels more ordered and proper So they are totally different. But if I must chose and compare anyway I like Abracadabra better
