We could’ve easily had VIY in May and TDD in September

Or a June pride love is love kinda song, also lots of weddings and stuff happen from june on to boost it.

I think they got scared by Abracadabra’s relatively poor chart performance. Which, to be fair, is a bit of a puzzle. It was critically acclaimed, had a viral video, beloved by fans, and cemented itself as one of the pop culture moments of last year, yet it couldn’t crack the hot 100 top 10? Obviously Vanish and Abra are very different songs, but I think it pushed them to away from pursuing additional official singles.

Abra could have done better if they pushed it as hard as they pushed DWAS... Physicals, pop up events, live versions, acoustics etc.. same for Disease and TDD.

They did actually try with GOE. It was given an early release with F1 and even had major playlisting, but it didn't stick the landing.

Well yes, but it still is the most streamed non single from the album. I think they should have released it as the lead instead of Disease, it would have had a much bigger exposure.
