Thats so random I didn't know it was lowkey smashing in the UK

We love dance music over here as soon as the weather heats up, plus the threshold for sales is much lower here for a hit.

The way the UK has been living for her during this era. Too bad that didn't translate to the Brit Awards. :partysick:

Tbf the brit awards has always primarily focused itself on people who attend.

Rosalia performed so ofc she won.

Very much this, if Gaga goes she’d probably win but the event isn’t as high profile WW to other events like The Grammys for instance.

Yeah, don't think she's been since the DITD performance.

updated the title :bear: probably going to debut in the top 10 at the week-end chart. And probably top 5 on the Big Top 40 too.

Can it really chart that high? I honestly though this would be lucky to make the top 40. Are there credible sources for this? And you're saying top 10 in the end week chart but then say top 5 in the top 40, but aren't they the same thing?

Can’t account for the trending chart, top 10 for me is just an estimate of my own based on her track record in the UK but Big Top 40 is different it’s a separate chart. BT40 is a Capital FM (formerly Galaxy FM back in the day) ran chart, it has credibility because of how big Capital is as a brand but songs on there only chart based on a few things;

This trending chart is more of an indicator of the official UK chart, this means it’s currently the 4th most requested, played, bought and streamed song this week as of the time of publishing. This will probably drop by the cut off of the chart so I think the song will chart anywhere between 8-12 on it’s first week here on the OFFICIAL chart, but Gaga is a Capital darling (which is weird she hasn’t done the Summertime Ball in forever) so she most definitely will be in the top 4-8 songs on the Big Top 40.

BT40 is affected by airplay from Capital owned radio stations based on requests and radio deals, streams on their Apple Music playlists and from third party purchases made through their website.

Back in the day (early 2010s and before) the chart only accepted MP3 sales as part of their chart through their website. It’s not really an indicator of the real Official Chart (Trending is an early indicator of the official one) but it’s a milestone more for radio airplay.

TLDR; it’s a radio airplay chart mostly.

If she’s dropping an EP for the summer or possibly a whole album in the next 12 months I need her back on the festival circuit in 2027 tbh. I need her to come back to the UK for stuff more. Like I don’t get why when DWAS was huge they didn’t get her to headline the Capital Summertime Ball for instance or Glasto during Mayhem.

Also whenever the next tour is I need her to do more dates or go places beyond London and Manchester for stadiums/arenas. Like Beyoncé did Stadium of Light in Sunderland so Gaga could and sell it out
