Conversely, I don't get why people insist that she's all over the song as if we can't hear that it's clearly more Doechii-focused. That's not a bad thing btw. Love Doechii and love what she brings to the song, but I think people are coping by saying things like, "You guys! She's in the background! She's in more of the song than you think!" Like, no one's going "Where's Gaga?" in DWAS, Telephone, ROM, Sour Candy, etc.

It's still a solid song, and I think it gets better with each listen, but I don't think it's ridiculous to think Gaga's not in as much of it as most of us would like.

I don't think either one has more focus than the other tbh, it's pretty equal, with their vocals intertwined. As for the last part, I never said it was ridiculous to think that.

I just think some were expecting the standard rap feature from Doechii with her part being contained, but I think people are reaching by saying gaga was barely on it lol

I wasn't saying that you, specifically, were saying it's ridiculous. I was speaking generally. Her vocals are intertwined throughout the song, but the way the song is mixed and layered favors Doechii.

I didn't think Doechii's part would be contained to one section of the song, but I wish Gaga had a solo verse besides the intro bit. I think the song would feel more balanced that way.

Maybe Sour Candy, but DWAS?? Absolutely not. She has a very prominent second verse, and her harmonies kinda outshine Bruno's main vocal. That song is very 50/50.
