“Yeah, but who would’ve guessed he would’ve gone to war with Iran?”

Oh, I don’t know, because he threatened to do it multiple times during his first term?! Also because he basically ran on “give Israel carte blanch to do whatever they want” and Israel has been chomping at the bit to go to war with Iran for like 20-30 years?!

The fact that Vance is standing with Trump on this is insane to me. Between this and justifying the murder of Alex Pretti and Renee Good when even TRUMP wouldn’t makes me feel like this dude is genuinely hellbent on destroying his own political career. The only way he survives this debacle in Iran is standing up to the President, seeking to invoke the 25th, whipping Congress to impeach as a contingency option, or threatening to resign. If this isn’t a red line for Vance, he can consider his presidential aspirations DOA.

He doesn't really have a political future tbh. The whole MAGA base prefers Rubio over him 'cause they see him as "the adult in the room" and Vance is just the young couch f*cking freak that Trump decided to pull into the white house by the scruff of his neck like a deranged, half blind cat lady pulling in a stray.

"America first" hates him for being a flip-flopping c*nt, Gropers or whatever tf they call themselves are literally saying they're gonna vote for Democrats (I don't believe it but sure), and the core MAGAs don't even really like Trump anymore, much less this idiot.

He's f*cked no matter what :neyde:

Pretty sure they did hypothetical 2028 polls and even AOC beat him while only Newsom and Harris beat Rubio.

Is there any chance they kicked him out of the presidential position? Maybe after election?

His cabinet is currently facing pressure to invoke the 25th amendment which will remove him from office. They're very, very unlikely to cave to that pressure.

When Democrats take the house and senate (both are looking more and more likely as time goes on) they'll for sure impeach him but they'll need 67 votes in the senate to remove him from office. That means swaying 10+ Republican senators to vote for removal which...Idk, at this point? Maybe it'll happen, who knows anymore.

Ngl, even Rubio feels like a stretch atp. Anyone who had a hand in the Iran war is basically doomed, imo.

Oh for sure, I just meant in the context of MAGA itself.

Barring a total f*ck up from Democrats (which itself is a 50/50 chance lmao), Republicans are screwed for a good while after this.

The more the Dems can run the Senate majority up (if they win) the better as the less Republicans needed to rely on the better.

It's crazy how just a year ago we KNEW we weren't taking the senate but Trump has been so toxic to the Republicans running that we're actually looking at maps like this and saying "yeah "

The fact that Iowa and Texas are only TILT Republican is insane. Other maps and betting odds markets categorize Texas as a tossup if Paxton wins the primary. It's nuts.

In this scenario, we'd need 16 Republicans (or 17 if Fetterman f*cks us over) to vote for removal.

I think the ideal goal (and is near impossible) would be 55 Dem senators. Meaning you only need 12 Republicans. That seems like an achievable number of Republicans prepared to fire the gun, because you can definitely find a mix of retirees/safe past 2028 Rep senators for that number.

We'd have to win Texas, Florida, Iowa, and Montana on top of sweeping the others. One of those can be replaced by Osborn in Nebraska if he caucuses with Democrats.

Such a long shot but Trump is dead ass about to dip into the 20s in approval so hey :rip:
