They recreate themselves as more beautiful within a fictional environment, no longer just by applying filters, but by presenting an entirely alternative version of themselves to the world. Given the tools available, it was predictable that the naturalness of our actions would be increasingly hidden by the artifice of constant exposure. Fascinating if you think about it! Also quite sad.
