To be real honest the tone of the Hogwart castle and general sets in the books are kind of dark even in the first books 

The choice of making it very bright in the first two movies was a choice tbh

Really weird that they will post this way before the actual series drops? I'd imagine people would want to feel the magic of seeing the castle for the first time in the series without knowing all the tricks and behind the scenes but that may just be me

Pirate it all you want, that’s for you to settle with your own morals. As a trans person who read the books, it too was a part of my childhood. There has to be a point where you can’t separate art from artist and actively trying to crush a community of people is that point for me.

You should be able to separate the story and the universe from the views of the author. Just saying that wanting to enjoy this “shows what kinda person you are” is just as dumb as defending what Rowling said

Not this. Consuming it, especially legally, will only benefit JKR pockets, separation or not. Even when you pirate it, you will help it indirectly by words of mouth, once you sees it and want to discuss it with someone. Curiosity kills the cat, and it is especially true for this case.

With that reasoning you cant do anything, because it always ends up with someone who is not right. But looking forward to the show and those discussions that will never stop the coming 10 years
