Better Album: Born This Way vs MAYHEM

BTW has higher highs, but Mayhem has zero lows. Even the two songs I don't love (The Beast, BoG), I really like. 

A year in, I can say that Mayhem has finally bumped BTW to second place. Barely.

Born This Way will always be her masterpiece but Mayhem an album coming out 15 years later sits right there at a well deserved #2 spot. No shade to ARTPOP, Joanne and Chromatica but I was truly starting to believe she was never going to make a STRONG album like the first three. It is very satisfying as a fan to see her this happy again and have that spark finally back. 

Also, Mayhem production is top notch, might even sound better than Born This Way production. 

If I was only getting into Gaga’s music around these years I’d call Mayhem her best album but the nostalgia is there so I have to pick Born This Way even if it’s too heavy to get into as a new listener.

Easy.  Mayhem.  I found BTW hard to listen to all the way through this last time.  Its production is just clunky compared to Mayhem.  Mayhem is just a polished pop masterpiece IMO.
