I still don't get the hype lol. She is a great vocalist and performer, but she doesn't write or produce her music, she doesn't give interviews because she'd say tons of problematic ****, and the only times "she" is political is through songs that other people write.

With the hype she gets online you'd expect her to sell as much as Taylor Swift yet she is very far, so imo it's trendy and cool to like her on social media but people barely listen to her music or actually care about her

Except Taylor is doing 547 variants for each albums, with a new releases or reissue coming every year or so. LEMONADE got one vinyl, one CD and one book, sold later. RENAISSANCE got two vinyl and one CD. COWBOY CARTER had five vinyl, the most she ever did, and one CD. And unlike Taylor, you don't need to purchase multiple editions to own all the music. Sure Beyoncé's fanbase isn't as wide, but even if they were the exact same size, Taylor would sell more with those aggressive strategies, just common sense. 
But very much like Taylor Swift, she's selling stadiums. 1,6 millions tickets sold for the CCT over 32 shows, 2,8 millions over 56 shows for the RWT. I'd say people care. Just because YOU don't (which is okay), doesn't mean it applies for everyone/

As for the political stuff, maybe she doesn't write, but she puts her name on it. It's also released under her label. I don't know why people keep putting that image of a brainless woman on her, but it feels deeply problematic (and a bit racist tbh) She's in charge of everything, she approves (or not) everything, she controls everything. As for interviews, maybe you're right. Or maybe they were instance in the past were interviewers asked her really stupid/hurtful questions, and she doesn't need to deal with that anymore. I mean, it's obviously working for her, why would she bother? Especially now with three children. Or maybe it's both, who knows. Doesn't change the fact that these stadiums are packed, every time.

Her team of songwriters and producers are very talented in crafting her the albums.

As a vocalist she's great, but there are better.

As a dancer she'll never top Janet, never, ever, in her life.

She would never become what she is today without the hard work of other people, because she's not a musical genius that people are saying.. sis can't even form a sentence by herself, she's always bad in interviews lol

 

But overall. she's beyonce, and u can't take it away from her.. she's a legend.

Swift moreso, tbh. It’s the fact that Swift’s fans have the audacity to pretend she’s a good live performer really takes the cake, imo

Ma'am has been putting out heat for 3 decades now, it's all over the internet anytime she breathes, and the vast majority of her collaborators talk about how much she contributes to their project. 

If someone is still fighting to downplay what she does? Strange and embarrassing in my eyes.
