Imagine having this legendary album in your discography.

It's actually insane that she released this less than three years after her debut. Instantly iconic! And it totally reshaped the pop landscape at the time. Not to mention how the tracks still consistently circle back to relevance in the mainstream.... like Gaga said, "they'll appreciate it 20 years from now".

We knew how special this was and that's what made it important to her. It's so amazing to listen to it and hear the collection of songs that she got away with 3 years in her career. That's what record labels should do and trust their artist's vision.

totally agree, I had that thought the other day listening to Government Hooker... like it's so fierce they gave her the resources and tools she needed and let her run with it

I can only imagine what ideas she had around that time they made her pump the brakes on haha

I was joking tbh more the fact that I feel like any Gaga fan under the age of 25 at this is gonna find the 4:30-5:00+ songs long as hell since they’re used to TikTok edits and under 3min songs.

If I’m being totally honest the only song on the album id personally give a miss to for a drink, cig or a bump is HML
