Mother shares HER side of the Chappell Security Incident

She was staying in Palácio Tangará. Everyone that stays there has money, status, or both. The hotel security realistically would not reach out to a random person staying there, at least not in this manner. It is a very very high profile hotel.

Also, that apology video of her. She was incredibly inarticulate that it is actually inexcusable. Her inability to string together a coherent sentence to get to a point, not even the point but just a point, is apparent. About people saying stuff about how there are multiple wars happening and stuff, that is true and I agree but y’all pick and choose which topic you want to care about and which you do not. We are debating which Gaga song is better on here daily, or Charlie Puth’s first child or Moana live action trailer or Pussycat Dolls or Barry Keoghan’s appearance or this or that or and or or..

You get my point? This site is niche in general.

I mean… there’s exactly 0 chance that her fame will continue on much longer. It seems she has no plans to put out a new album in the foreseeable future and she’s gotten nothing but negative attention for the last year plus. It’s a shame, because she truly was looking like Gaga level trajectory for a while.

..and you are completely right. I talked about this a day ago and said that it does not matter what position people take on this, as in the end she decided herself that she wants to take the Doja Cat route, and her public image and fame will start to derail and fade day by day if she continues like this.

I'm a bit bored of this thing, like chappel is annoying and all and she got her fair share of hate from me but now it's time to direct it to the "victims".

sis you're daughter is 11, real life is sh-t and people are dying as you speak.. move on.. if this is her life trauma, you're damned lucky because the psychiatrist treatment will be short and affordable, something that regular kids can't afford.

like between the lines, this security guard show this spoiled girl how real life works..

it's not nice to be screamed at as a kid, but sis is not even a kid, but a young teenager, and it's not the end of the world, you cry a little and move on.

at the end it's a bunch of privileged entitled people fighting with each other:Cautious:

This is exactly my take on it. With everything going on in the world, I honestly couldn't care less that some privileged rich girl got her feelings hurt by a security guard. The fact that people are still talking about this is bizarre.

Specifically on the daughter.

I don't trust celebrity kids. They're mid-incubation devil spawn.

When did the daughter come out and share her side of the story tho? What do you not trust about the daughter lol

I didn't say she had.

You specifically said "why don't we believe the girl and her mother".

So why did you say that if she hasn't said anything?

Its also funny to me after 3 years on this site that people still think I am doing anything other than being sarcastic when I call celebrity children "mid-incubation devil spawn".

Like, are you that convinced of your moral high horse that you can't even recognise someone making a joke?

This drama is so boring. The headline is basically "Rich tween doesn't get her way" and everyone is losing their minds.

Like, seriously, let a girl have dinner without being gawked at. Don't care that she's a global superstar, don't care that yall have beef with her, don't care in general. Why are we still talking about this?

Definitely not Chappell Roan

For anyone asking why we should care and talk about this - it's high time that celebrities are held accountable for their actions. Celebrities and rich elites in general, have been allowed to get away with bad behaviour since the dawn of time and most of it is swept under the rug because they have the money and power to make it go away. When stories like this comes out, it just goes to show we shouldn't kiss these people's backsides because they make a few good songs. Maybe calling them out publicly, which could ruin their career, will actually force them to take a look in the mirror and change. Forced or not, they need to realise that they've let fame go to their head and can't move through the world treating people like s**t. What this girl did wasn't a crime, she looked at someone from a distance and smiled. What world are we living in where such an innocent action from a child is demonised? I don't care that she's rich, we all should be treated with respect. We all remember what it was like to be 11. I would've burst into tears too at that age if the same thing happened. Have some empathy. And it says a lot about a man when he treats a little girl who was doing nothing wrong like she's a threat. Celebrity orders or not.

I honestly think Chappel Roan is the victim of an ongoing smear campaign and character assassination. She's a queer activist who spoke up for Palestine and other human rights issues, just tore herself away from her talent agency because of the CEO's ties to the Epstein files and has been open about her disdain with the current administration. When we think about who owns these agencies, who owns the media that's making things like this go viral, we need to think more critically about what we're consuming.

That's all I'll say, I'm not replying to nothin' else! :vegas:

No, it means that you should accept that when you're in public as a famous person that you will see people doing double takes when looking in your direction and maybe smiling if they're a fan. Sometimes even us normies have it happen to us because someone thinks they recognise us and have to go a bit closer to see. The girl didn't even approach her. What happened in this scenario is normal human interaction that we deal with everyday and to label it as disrespectful and harassment (which ironically, is being disrespectful and harassing) is being a narc of the highest order. If Chappell is so sensitive to another human (and a child, at that) looking at her from a distance for a few seconds while at a hotel breakfast, she needs help.

I think all of that would have sounded awesome in Judge Judy's voice btw

I think this is just an unfortunate confluence of events, and no one is in the wrong except maybe the security guard.

If we believe what Chappell and Catherine Harding/Jorginho have said, then:

Ada Law (the 11-year-old) saw someone who looked like Chappell walk by their table and be seated in the garden outside the restaurant. Excited, she left her phone at the table and walked to the garden to check if it was really Chappell, smiling at Chappell as she passed by. Even Chappell admits Ada didn't approach her or bother her as she claims she never noticed Ada or Catherine.

Then Ada returned to her table and resumed eating with her mother. A few minutes later, a security guard approached Catherine and Ada and began berating them, telling Catherine to teach Ada better manners, etc. etc., leaving Ada in tears.

Chappell says she knew nothing about this incident and didn't send security there, and moreover, that the security guard was not on her private detail. Catherine claims the security guard 100% is not from the hotel.

Likely scenario: either Chappell's label or the festival hired extra security for Chappell's visit, and this guy is from that group. He's not Chappell's personal bodyguard, but technically he works for her. He likely spotted Ada checking out Chappell and became overzealous like security for famous people sometimes do.

It's not Chappell's fault, but unfortunately the guy indirectly represents her.

Unfortunately for Chappell, this is the kid of famous people with connections in several industries: sports, music, film.

Catherine and Jorginho overreacted by posting this on social media, but they probably were upset that their kid was crying. The better thing to have done would have been to use their connections to contact Chappell's team privately.

Oh ok it’s just cause your comment said you don’t trust children of celebrities so I was confused what is it that this little girl said or did that you think she lied about or something or whatever it is you meant

I think the reason they took to social media…is because it holds the celebrities accountable.  That security guard was there foooor chappel, and indirectly represented her..yet somehow she was clueless to the situation and she so far has done nothing to make this little girl feel better after what the security guard did to her.

If Chappell cared and felt any amount of empathy for the 11 year old, she’d do something to show it.

I think chappells biggest enemy is herself rn.

she is obsessed with attention and making a statement whenever and however she can…yet she hates the result of this, which is that people become intrigued and fascinated with you and will talk about you.  Therefore you become famous and a celebrity and people will recognize you anywhere and everywhere.  And people will get excited if they see you.  She has security teams and bodyguards to keep her safe from anyone who is crossing her boundaries, yet she is still always complaining about people’s excitement and reactions when seeing her in public

If you don’t want attention, stop putting yourself out there like that.
