Except paparazzi are much tamer now compared to when Gaga was complaining about them. It’s from a time when paparazzi would stay at the end of people’s driveways, wait for them to leave their houses, and follow them all day. I’m pretty sure Gaga never complained about going to Paris Fashion Week, being surrounded by paparazzi there, and deciding to take a performative video instead of just going into that very popular, star-studded restaurant.

What Gaga said absolutely applies here. If you don’t want to be seen, maybe don’t go to one of the most prestigious places where paparazzi are obviously going to be, since it’s a hotspot.

“She’s trying to draw boundaries!” She’s trying to draw boundaries with people who do not give a ****. Therefore, she’s just making more content where she gets to be the martyr, and you’re all eating it up. I still don’t get how her whole sob story was “I tried so hard to be famous for ten years, and this was my last chance before I gave up,” and now that she’s famous, she hates every aspect of it, it seems.

She’s more than welcome to go back to being a private citizen and working at a drive-thru, but I just hate this era of people who want it both ways. “I deserve to have lots of money and be a multimillionaire, but I also deserve to be completely left alone!” If there was ever a job that literally had thousands of examples of what happens when you make it big in that profession, it’s becoming a famous singer. It’s like if I applied for a job at Starbucks and then said, “Why is everyone asking me to make their coffee?”

A lot of you guys still live in the imaginary world of “should,” where “she should be able to walk down the street without anyone bothering her!” If the WORST thing that happens to Chappell Roan is that someone wants to take her picture, the best thing you can do in that situation is either go in the back entrance or hide your face for the five seconds it takes to walk into a restaurant, but instead she decides to stand there. I just don’t get it.

Someone should release Chappell Roan from the shackles of fame. She is obviously bothered by it, and she repeatedly treats it as an inconvenience, and I’m tired of you all trying to liken her to Gaga as if that will make us garner sympathy for her.

I don't have an opinion about this situation and if it's her fault or not, but this guy inciting the rage of soccer fans is kinda bitter tasting. Being a villain in soccer fans minds is definitely something "special", men soccer aficionados are scary. The street fights the teams fans get involved in are VIOLENT. The way men treat soccer here is crazy, sometimes even ex-girlfriends or ex-wifes of players get heat from the fans. I've seen soccer fans fight with pop gays on Twitter with a soccer player vs. pop diva scenario, it's crazy.

Also, they are enjoying the opportunity to show hate towards a singer that the gay community likes, it's the perfect opportunity for them to redirect homophobia. This player just did something I think he doesn't even fathom.
