hamartia 3,027
I want to go, but I just can't fathom seeing my str*ight boyfriend standing in the audience like: "I lied. I lied!" (Germanotta, 2025)

StrawberryBlond 15,565
Couldn't get through on the presale (heard so many people didn't get presale codes either, it was all a bit chaotic) so I'll have no choice but to hope for the general onsale tomorrow. Apparently only a small amount of tickets are reserved for all presales and naturally, this has to be an appropriate ratio based on the amount of overall tickets available, so I can only imagine how few tickets are kept aside for small venues. Presales are designed to build hype for general sale and scare people into thinking they need to buy tickets asap or miss out entirely. We only need to see the Mayhem presale for evidence of that. For a small artist like Slayyyter, these venues will accommodate the majority of fans. So, I'm trying to be positive and keep all my fingers crossed for tomorrow. Wishing everyone else luck too!

Yes it seems like there were a few mishaps with the presale codes, that’s very sad… I can only imagine how many people were disappointed about that. We live in such a decadent capitalistic era ! It’s so infuriating to watch all the strategies used to make us feel like we’re going to miss out on something and to lure us to spend all our money as quick as possible. They play with our minds and they study new ways to keep us spending more and more every single day But I’ll stop rambling… I wish you the best for the general onsale today ! It seems like you’re a big fan too and really want to experience Miss Belladonna live for the first time wich is totally understandable Fingers crossed, manifesting that you’ll update us with the best news EVEEEER R.

I hope you’re doing well So sorry for my late answer, I was pretty busy the last two days and felt ill. I understand your fear of going out alone so well; I spoke about it earlier on this thread with Bronco. I’m so sorry you feel that way, I know doing things by yourself can feel and be so scary… I don’t know where you are, at this very moment, on your journey to heal your anxiety. Have you already taken small steps to challenge yourself in your everyday life ? Like going for a walk around the area where you live or going to a park, visiting a new city alone ? Perhaps even taking a new class for something that you’re really passionate about where you had to be in the presence of a lot of people you didn’t know ? Just like Bronco said, going to a concert is very different from going to a place where you absolutely have to interact with the people around you. People who go to a show are there to have a good time and won’t really pay attention to you and what you’re doing. But in order to be able to go alone, I think you have to have a minimum of self-confidence and be able to shut the voices in your head that try to belittle you and make you feel like you’re a misfit. I don’t think you’d have to be the most confident person on earth but I think you have to be able to understand what are the specific things that trigger your anxiety, how it manifests itself in order to make the experience as comfortable as possible for you. In these moments, we have to try to be compassionate, accepting towards ourselves and be our own biggest supporter. Working on breathing techniques and trying to build your confidence by repeating positive affirmations about yourself every day might also play a big part in overcoming social anxiety ! I know my journey towards healing was also one of self-discovery and self-acceptance. I hope this helps you, even just a little bit, and whatever your decision is about Slayyyter’s show, don’t worry about it too much. You’re doing the best you can right now and there will be plenty of other opportunities that will come your way ! Also, I didn’t think about it before because I don’t think you live in Belgium, but if that’s the case, we can always meet and go to the concert together if you decide to get tickets ! (I hope you’ll understand everything I was trying to say, English is not my mother tongue…) Edited March 20 by Rhiannon R.
