Gaga Scholar 228
Gaga’s energy while dancing to her own music is so often incredible to me. I love that she clearly loves what she creates and stands by her work and isn’t afraid to show it. She should be proud of and enjoy herself, as we all should be for ourselves. Over the years, I’ve seen critiques of Gaga’s dancing on here. And I don’t think she gets enough credit for her energy and passion and overall love for dance. And when she’s on her game, she *is* really good at it—both improv and choreo. (My partner, who is both a Swiftie and dances with a group for fun, finds Gaga to be a better dancer than her “Telephone” collaborator, which is surely a take that wouldn’t go over well in most spheres. 😅) I love how geeky and sometimes imperfect her movements are. Just like the music and the fashion, it’s referential and goofy and sexy and strange and relatable and just everything. In any case, I don’t think we’ve seen the full extent of Gaga’s capabilities, either, as I’m not sure she’s been this pain-free since before her hip started to deteriorate. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more of whatever she and Parris can dream up. It’s so exciting to stan a healthy and happy pop diva!!! "The truth is..." --L. bxr 1,150
the atlanta bows felt like embodied electric whimsy … so much amplified fun … the timing on “replay” is so finesse, she feigns fright and dances through performative distress as she blows kisses to the crowd and traipses through “the scars on my mind are on replay, the monster inside you is torturing me” — it’s giving “they can‘t scare me if i scare them first” meets poker face on levels … and “alice” on n1 felt like it set the tone, like reclaiming wonderland … Edited March 9 by bxr

G U C C I 5,534
For me it’s much more hypnotic to watch her dancing and prancing around during the bow songs than it is the actual performances at times. The N2 Replay one is the perfect example. She just always embodies this edgy jerky movement with still being so in rhythm. Seeing her taking her bow to Alice in person and the music running out before she made it back to stage was adorable she just kept moving like it was still blaring 1
PartySick 168,659
I just love the way she has to skedaddle so fast down the runway and back 'cause the songs are so short ¡Seguimos aquí!
