President Donald Trump told Axios last week that the choice would be “unacceptable” and suggested he wanted to handpick a new supreme leader, a process usually overseen by Iran’s clerics. “They are wasting their time. Khamenei’s son is a lightweight. I have to be involved in the appointment,” he said. “Khamenei’s son is unacceptable to me.” Trump repeated this sentiment in an ABC News interview, saying the new leader “is not going to last long” if Iranian leaders do not get his approval. The Israel Defense Forces warned on Sunday that any successor to Ali Khamenei would be considered a target. I'm so unbelievably pissed off that a billion tax payer dollars (MY money) is being used daily to bomb schools, hospitals, and chalk drawings of airplanes in Iran just because Israel wants us to. Absolutely a shameful time for us Americans. Imagine a world where Israel and the US simply respected the sovereignty of other nations. Insane thought, I know. If I asked my company to stop removing taxes from my pay, don’t file my taxes and pay anything back, get my pay docked, and then sue the United States for improperly using my funds for something I am against- is there anywhere to go with that? I don’t want my money going to this Withholding your taxes is a valid form of protest but it's not legally protected so you would still face fees, fines, and eventually jail time. The only way a protest like that could work is if millions of people did it at once and we'd never organize like that.
