You will be slaughtered :laughga:

I'd love a DVD, and I still think that it's possible... I refuse to believe that we won't get a DVD

Sadly no DVD arrangements have been made. The Born This Way Ball was not filmed, it will not become a DVD.

How are you certain?

I'm positive. Nothing was shot that is has potential of being used. She never even planned on a DVD being created, she was going to use the documentary (Behind the Scenes/Making of) as an outlet for the fans to have a back stage experience.

But one of her dancers even said that the DVD hadn't been recorded yet... they said that it would be recorded at an upcoming show which would be one of the cancelled ones.

They wouldn't use video from the screens because that's not acceptable for a DVD release. They would've had a professional camera crew there. It's more than just HD or SD, I doubt those stage cameras used for the screens record at a very high bitrate if they're being streamed live to the screens so they wouldn't look too good up close on an HDTV.

Those live feed cameras footage is worthless. They are all zoomed in on her and her only. It doesn't cover the crowd, the dancers, or what's behind her.

she DID plan a DVD, she said it multiple times on LM + her drummer said that taping would be soon (before she got injuried)

It was discussed, never put into action. Madison Square Garden was the only going to be taped and that wasn't confirmed.

It WAS planned, they didn't do anything because they cancelled the rest of the shows but she did planned it :P

Let's put it this way. Would you rather have the screen recordings or YouTube recordings?

The screen recordings are just a clear version of the Youtube recordings. I hate to break it to you, it's not happening at this point.

It was discussed, never set in stone. She was still conflicted about it, as was her label. It could of very well been scrapped.
