I agree with this grade tbh. The album is very same-y and not worth a full decade of wait. It was a 7/10 at best for me on initial listen. Some beautiful vocals here and there but overall not much pay off and not one single song stood out

Well I just looked at his other albums and they have 61, 70, 70 and Silk Sonic being his highest with 83 so it's not like his solo albums have always had a high score. This album seems to be around what he usually does and that's fine and will do great.

Tbf i did not find the album sounded like the same song hes made the last 10 years (i have only listened to the first half so far tho)

 

It has more of a cha cha salsa vibe than most of his music so it is a little different. I Just Might is not a good representation of the rest of the album (at least the portion i heard so far)
