Gorehound 5,769
I used to stan Avril Lavigne and 30 Seconds to Mars back when they were good. I still love their earlier music now but don't bother with their newer stuff which sucks.
Ophelia 5,444
this will be a niche choice, but I was obsessed with an alternative (her music is very unique and hard to pin point) singer/violinist Emilie Autumn around 2010-2014. She was my gateway to industrial music scene and since the themes in her art are mostly related to mental health - truly a savior for my teenage troubled heart. I considered her my no. 1 artist before ARTPOP came around. She kinda fell through, had big plans to do Broadway, etc. yet I feel like everyone wanted her to stick to the same angsty goth stuff. Her cult following was insane though, one of the biggest I've ever seen in the goth scene. Similar and as obsessive as LMs. She actually called out Gaga multiple times for stealing the wheelchair act and paws up symbol - I remember very well our fandom had this "rat claw" symbol before Gaga has embraced the paws for the first time. This could be a coincidence though! kinda off topic, but for some reason many of alternative female artists I liked were hating on Gaga and accusing of stealing ideas - Kerli, Porcelain Black (she went MAGA though) I'm glad at least Amanda Palmer embraced her since day one, she even went to the Monster Ball and wrote a lengthy blog post about it. Quite recently Gaga gave her band a shout out as one of her inspos in the Rolling Stone video. back to the topic - Gwen Stefani. My first idol ever and another MAGA victim It went away for me when I started to explore alternative music a bit more and she either went MIA or simply boring. ...has anybody seen my disco stick? TimotheeChalamet 6,948
Muse I used to love them to death and saw them live 2x, I still think they are geniuses but their last two albums made zero impact and were meh with a few exceptions, then I simply grew up and broadened my musical taste I guess Edited February 27 by TimotheeChalamet

You can definitely feel that he believes his own hype these days. The gays know how to party 1

Oriane 22,778
The Pretty Reckless used to be my favorite band but it has faded away in the past few years. It has nothing to do with the quality of the music, even though their last album was not my favorite. Even the earlier songs don't do as much as they used to. For comparison, most of old Gaga songs still hit the same and I've probably listened to them much more and for longer, so I don't know where that comes from. Gaga I’ve stanned from day one and I will until I die
Nite 5,913
MARINA for me. Not sure I'd go so far as to say stan, and I still adore the old albums, but the love just faded out and Princess of Power didn't grab me back
newtti 161
Lene Marlin. She was huge in Europe with her first album, although I believe she only ever released one single in the US. Unfortunately her latest album is from 2009, so I don't think she will ever go back to singing; such a talented songwriter, with a very sweet voice

Anderson123 42,695
Maroon 5. I was a fan of their early work. Went to see them live during tour of their second album (it was my first concert) and absolutely loved their third album. Moves Like Jagger was a nice experiment and something new from them. Overexposed was more of this type of pop songwriters fever they had but every album after that has been getting worse and worse. I had to step away from listening to them because they’d get very annoying mega hits. The Killers - I still like them. Their first 3 albums are great and went to see them live with a group of friends but then Battle Born came out and I lost interest.
