gagzus 17,996
I mean… she’s had 2 other concert films that were filmed in the exact same way so I’d say who cares. We didn’t have threads on here about TMB or CBT when someone was onstage doing the exact same thing lol. Maybe it’s because I didn’t get tickets though, but also there’s ALWAYS people on the the stage with cameras for the screens as well so why are we surprised? 27monster27 15,075
I don't understand what makes it so hard for them to do what the NFL does and have cameras on wires/drones. I'm not an expert on this, yeah, but it feels simple. he/him/his

I get that they want professional footage from film camera, but I think they live screen footage was already amazing. I attended the Sydney shows and the side screens was on the whole time and the camera work was fantastic. There's a reason why Ticketmaster has an Obstructed view tag. Think about it a little. You'll be able to connect the dots. The obstructed view tag probably didn't exist because they may have not decided to film at the time/since the crew moves around it was too hard for them to list seats that would have obstructed views, since it would change depending on the stage. But what they should have done is sent out an informative email or announcement disclosing the filming/how it would take place, so that fans could know what to expect. I'm sure it is so exciting to be at a filmed show, but the blocked views definitely seem annoying. So she BETTER have some close-ups on the film, just to make those fans happy. Also, I can't help but assume some of the fans at these shows/that close have been to shows prior (I saw on a livestream someone said it was like their 8th or 9th show). So there are tons of experiences to cherish then, and while obstructed in view for parts of it, you get to say you were at the filmed concert and that is pretty dope Edited Wednesday at 06:26 PM by Alxjcgn

My seats weren’t affected by it, but me and my father who came with me, walked around the stadium to see how much of it would’ve been obstructed and it was a **** ton of seats. I had what I would say are decent seats for the Chromatica Ball.... but yea I couldn't see her for the whole first act. She had to be either at the end of the stage or on a catwalk/the b stage for me to see. During Alice I could see her, but she was so far away too it didn't matter. That was an amazing concert, but that stage layout will always confuse me

It is also a much different form of capturing an event. To do so with wires/drones, you'd have to spend hours and so much money rigging the equipment, that the wires would manage to become an obstruction of themselves
