I refuse to pay $30CAD for this, and I love Pokemon... Frankly, it's a lazy rerelease. Like, for $30 it should've included *both* versions at the least come on...

I've been doing this for years

+ there are so many ROM Hacks that improve on the original FireRed LeafGreen, with QOL improvements, difficulty settings, new mons etc

HIGHLY recommend

Real. The only advantage this version has is that it's supposed to be compatible with Pokemon Home, which I don't use anyways. And apparently the removed the mention on the eshop so It probably won't be available at launch.

Even if they had been included in NSO, I can't see myself play a retro game without shaders, cheats and the ability to fast forward unless it's on OG hardware

I played a romhack for a while that was just like...a stoner version of the Hoenn games? I didn't beat it, I think I only got up to the electric gym, but my god it had me cackling  

Fan games are always better. People who care about the franchise vs people who are trying to sell you 20 year old games for $30.

4,2 Big Macs in 2017? Not even 2, at least in my country.

Yeah, inflation may be a thing, but this is almost cost 0 for them, since there's no improvement nor extra content for these versions. Back in 2017 GB games were €5 on eShop and they already decided to double that price for Pokemon games just because it's Pokemon. I mean, there are tons of indie games that cost €20 (Silksong for example). And again, they could have included them on NSO.
