renann77 36 Posted February 15 Share Posted February 15 (edited) I’ve been thinking a lot about “TEA” and how its concept actually fits perfectly within the Lady Gaga universe. For years, Gaga was often seen holding a teacup as a fashion accessory, it became almost symbolic, part of her surreal and theatrical imagery. Because of that, “TEA” never felt random to me. Conceptually, it makes total sense. I genuinely believe that, even today, the song could be reworked and released. Gaga has grown so much artistically, and revisiting a track like “TEA” with her current perspective could give it new depth and meaning. Out of all the ARTPOP unreleased tracks, I’m curious about the others but not nearly as much as I am about “TEA.” There’s something about it that feels unfinished in a way that invites a second life. I once asked Dot (pop a 911 and pop another one) about it, and he mentioned that the song wasn’t very developed and had more of a Bollywood-inspired style. That only makes it more intriguing to me. Gaga experimenting with that influence during ARTPOP sounds bold and unexpected, which is very on-brand for her. Unreleased tracks always seem to resurface in fan discussions, and “TEA” is almost always part of the conversation. So I’m curious: do you think it could realistically be reworked and released today? Or do you think it belongs strictly to that chaotic ARTPOP chapter? I’d love to hear what other fans think. I really love the topic of Gaga’s unreleased songs, I always wait for them to leak so I can listen and enjoy them too.
