OMonster 14,991 Posted February 11 Share Posted February 11 I genuinely think Gaga has another SBHTS in her and that it’s possible she’ll be offered it again one day. I don’t believe for one second that she’d want to ‘redo’ what she’s already done but I think there’s real scope to do a very different show the second time round, which is what I think she’d be attracted to. Given her first show was 100% solo, I could see her (and the NFL/Apple Music) going in the completely opposite direction and doing a show filled with guests but headlined by Gaga. Kind of like a “Lady Gaga & friends” set up. The set list could include a combination of any of the following songs, in no particular order: Telephone ft. Beyonce Shallow ft. Bradley Cooper Die With A Smile ft. Bruno Mars We Will Rock You / Yoü and I / Radio Gaga ft. Adam Lambert and Queen Express Yourself / Born This Way ft. Madonna Rain On Me ft. Ariana Grande Abracadabra ft. Gesaffelstein Your Song ft. Elton John Maybe even the rumoured new song with The Weeknd I think there'd be a reason for Gaga to do this (in her own mind) because she'd be able to experience a collaborative take on the half time show, which she didn't before. Her discography is still filled with commercial hits, fan favourites, European singles, tiktok gems and such. Applause, Alejandro, Abracadabra, Paparazzi, Judas, Bloody Mary, Marry the Night, Disease, Always Remember Us, Shallow, like I could still go on. If we're being objective though, songs like Judas, Bloody Mary, Marry The Night and Disease are not sizeable enough hits for the SBHTS stage. Remember that many artists do include some deep cuts during their halftime shows, not just all commercial hits. Both "Judas" and "Bloody Mary" are most definitely sizeable hits. Applause (the stripped down beginning so it nicely transitions from ARUTW, the chorus is studio version) 3. Paparazzi (a bit sped up, like Just Dance at TMB, so it matches the tempo of Applause, then it slowly decreases as the songs goes til it reaches the bridge when it transitions to Judas) 4. Judas 5. Abracadabra 6. Bloody Mary/Alejandro (uses the operatic singing from Abracadabra's bridge to transition into Bloody Mary) 7. Die With a Smile/Shallow (performed at the piano) 8. Rain On Me 9. She could do Bloody Mary / Abracadabra intro, Paparazzi/Alejandro, Rain On Me, Shallow/Die With A Smile and finish with The Edge of Glory and Vanish Into You. And Bruno already performed twice, thats not happening. Honestly i think Gaga right now can totally score a new hit, She regained huge momentum and found herself a strong team. She still has the media backing her up and the public Is on her side.
