Some thoughts as a fan today

I am still so amazed and still tearing up over her half time appearance - she just needed to immerse herself and sing and it got across everything that words alone could not have delivered. Unity and celebration. I am just so proud to be a stan today, and I'm not even American or Latino.

But she has been a consistent epitome of tolerance, spreading love and also loving/believing in yourself. Especially after Mayhem as well she has really helped me accept so much of myself, parts I don't like and that are in conflict, I just can't describe but I hope many of you get it

My absolute dream would be her for to really drive that home with LG8, not necessarily an overt BTW 2.0 but just really drive home the themes of loving yourself, your neighbors, people and the world. And how we can really be there for each other despite differences and the world would be better for it.

If any artist can do that with the power of music and some undeniable bangers, it's her. Happy and proud Stan either way but Gaga we need you to heal the world in the way we know only you can!!!

Much love from a millennial immigrant queer fan of 17 years and counting.

I think this would be a really sweet concept for her next album. Now that she is comfortable again with the earlier concepts of her music, she can revisit the self love and political activism from Born This Way and ARTPOP. This actually would fit in with her more subtle approach today I think, because with this she could just let the music carry the message.

That was lovely, thank you @thisboyisamonster

Lady Gaga feels like an ambassador of music and good will. Looking at all these comments online, Gaga really nailed this one, being part of something really really important, and on the biggest stage on Earth.

The recent Grammys showed the world her true musicality, this Superbowl showed the world her humility and support.

I appreciate the sentiment but I can’t see her doing a politically minded project again (although in hindsight BTW isn’t THAT politically minded like people seem to believe beyond 2 songs), at least not one that’s so blunt and up front about it. I mean she’s marrying a tech and health millionaire and has a staunchly Republican father. Plus she’s sort of fell into that middle ground of being more central and less left radical as she’s gotten older.

If she did do a political album again it’d be very subtle I think, gone are the days of her screaming at presidents to listen etc she’s taking the more John Lennon approach by being a bit more free love for all. Which is entirely fine since she’s an almost 40 year old almost close to being a billionaire now.

I think if anything her next record will lean more into unity through music. Music for all to enjoy.

Yeah I think it has become very clear what the vibe of LG8 NEEDS to be: a record about joy, loving your neighbors, and celebrating life.

if Mayhem was a black heart, I see LG8 as a ray of light (I did not do that on purpose.)

the vibe for the next album should be something that reminds you of dance music that gets played in places that bring crowds together and get people up again. In the streets, in the bars, in the clubs, in the plazas, in the family restaurants, in even the loneliest places the type of songs that come on and make you instantly happy.

that type of music for LG8, please. Unprejudiced Joy. I want a “happy cry” album. Anthemic, gospel, wedding bell, firework pop about family and humanity coming together.

Yeah I feel like she can still put her edgier/darker lens on it though. It could also be moody but fun and still have strong messaging. I don't know I feel like whatever it is it will have a lot of heart and just genuine positivity in some way
