Gaga’s Voice Autotuned in Official Halftime Video?

Is it just me or does it feel like they autotuned Gaga’s voice in post-editing before uploading the official halftime show to YouTube? Her notes and runs seem smoother and more on pitch than I recall while watching it live and her lips don’t even match her vocals at some points. She sounded great so I find it funny that they’d decide to potentially do this. I can’t tell if it’s autotuned or if they just layed over her vocal track recording from one of her rehearsals.

I think it's mixed better but I don't hear autotune.

Yeah, the vocal sounds pretty natural to me and sounds much better.

oh that mix is sooooooo much better. that's not autotone imo, maybe a little smoothing, but mostly the mix is just better and her mic clearer imo

Smoothed out a lot of the imperfections in the mix that made me wince a li’l the first time. Love, love, love.

Yes it's smoother/clearer, which is good! Not that it was bad before though.

Who knows… they did fix Alicia keys performance once they uploaded it online so I wouldn’t be surprised if they tweaked this years as well

It was fixed. I watched another video with the raw vocals. Funny I didn’t even notice until I watched the edited version lol

she had like one minor issue at the opening run, that seems to have been fixed in post prod. It does sound very natural though, whoever did the sound editing deserves a raise

the did edit the note she missed at the very beginning when she went "OhoOohhOh". I don't care that she has errors when singing, it just proves that she's 100% live all the time but I just kept thinking "I hope she's not being TOO hard on herself for that tonight"

Same i didnt want to say it bc it was a great performance but live i was like eek something is not gelling. That's fine, let it be the way it was supposed to sound with all the same components. it's muuuuuch better
