I hope that clears it up for you. i think you misunderstand what a writing camp is lol she does not underpay her artists. if anything, it's that she pays so well that she's able to operate the way she does and receive publishing credits as she does. But a writing camp is like a long weekend of cramming, more like a retreat, not a sweatshop. she's not grimes locking azealia banks in a basement if you don't like the mode of working, okay, but don't distort the nature of it to something more nefarious than it actually is when the basic practice is pretty benign and widely known to have pretty decent conditions which is a far cry difference from Shein and fast fashion (of which she *has actually participated in the past). 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm not sure why you're mocking this. Country music is absolutely based on musical genres & styles that originated among black communities in the deep south. With the western aspect of country & western music using mexican & hawaiian folk music influences like the steel guitar. "Hillbilly music" literally began with recordings of blues music, blues is an African-American originating genre. The first recorded country song with lyrics was a minstrel song.
