Jackaroo 2,687
justice for 20 Y.O that opening track? Feedback? that album dropped around JT second album and fergie solo era; also i think she was regarded as ‘guilty by association’ with her brother during that time? it’s such a good album if u enjoy that 2006 r&b sound- it’s so underrated! MACATL 2,124
My overall favorite album is 1997’s The Velvet Rope. But it’s close with 1989’s Rhythm Nation. Then my favorite SINGLE is from 1993’s janet. - “If.” 1989 - 2001 is top notch pop writing, performing and production without chasing any trends - it was always fresh. I liked that during her prime she created from the heart and just HOPED that the public was into it. Sometimes it was extremely experimental and not everyone’s cup of tea, and that was ok. Same goes for 2015’s Unbreakable - just a stellar artistic effort.
