Though I'm sure if she'd won AOTY, she would've said something. But I'm realising now that maybe it was her plan to only mention it under that circumstance and that referencing it in a speech was for a POC to do, she didn't want to step on any toes and be seen as performative and trying to attach herself to a situation that doesn't affect her.
