I don't get it = it's objectively terrible People are free to not like it but calling it "terrible" "lazy" or "her worst performance ever" is also harsh. sadly most of the pop music fans are basic and totally cluless about performance art and such...they just want a cute chore a nice outfit and shock factor. Boring.

She could’ve just sat and played a piano rendition of it. Y’all just love to praise everything and act like anybody who disagrees is negative. It was a bad performance choice with a good look and that’s it. Girl wrong one, I do not praise everything she does farrrrrr from it. It was an exceptional performance and the outfit was a part of it since it is a tribute to both mcqueen’s performance art and her artistry. But agree to disagree even though I can’t fathom how. This is the most thought out and intentional performance she’s done for an award show in a very very long time 4 1

howsAnnie 528
MINDBLOWING!!! I know I'm late to the party, but her performance was so incredible! The outfit, the camera, the shot with her singing into the mirror floor, Josh Freese, the f**king guitar??? Her opera voice, the scream, the hellfire stuff happening in the background.... Just wow. I'm so happy that she's exploring the crazy darker heavier stuff again. Ever since the release of Disease, she keeps reminding me that this is in fact the same person I so looked up to for giving us TFM, BTW and all the weird and amazing stuff that shaped my youth. People change and artistry evolves, but it truly feels like she's gone full circle. I hope she taps into this specific vein of creativity some more before eventually moving on to different projects. 4

Jose Alberto 1,254 Posted yesterday at 12:23 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:23 AM Personally, I didn't like the performance... I know it's entirely my fault because of the expectations I had... although I'm glad there are fans who love It.

MindTrapper 27 Posted yesterday at 01:04 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:04 AM I loved the performance! I did expect a number with dancers after they were spotted in LA, but I would not exchange this version of Abra for anything. So much better than if she did a piano version of a song again. Of course I do get those who wished for a spectacle like Abra on the tour, but this era is coming to an end, personally I wouldn't want to see the opera haus the same way once more televised or streamed (we had Coachella, Rio, VMAs) unless if it's a concert film. I hope next time she has an era she will dedicate a one off high energy performance with dancers to the Grammys or any award shows (VMAs were cute but a rehash, I didn't particularly enjoyed it). Dojo 19,753 Posted yesterday at 01:16 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:16 AM It was fun, and different. She clearly didn't have time to rehearse something better, at least we got a performance.
