27monster27 14,914
I liked it but the elitism in this thread is so depressing. The amount of people dogpiling on others who say they don't like it, and then act upset when they fight back is just saddening. Some of these people are the same "we don't have to like everything she does" people too. Exhausting. he/him/his

How could i forget a look front that collection. Flop!!!

Massive Monster 5,101
I've just watched it properly (better quality, not on my phone but on a bigger screen and with headphones)... SO GOOD! The cinematography (the abrupt and literally robotic camera angles) with insane lighting, the pose in the Alexander McQueen fashion... Chef's kiss. It looks so industrial (cables everywhere, the seizure inducing lighting). I dig this vibe so much. I have literally never seen anything like it. It's so unconventional. Yes there is a part of me that would have loved a medley with another song perhaps, like Vanish Into You to show versatility and even push for another single... But come on this looks insane. As always she is in a league of her own, no one does it like her. Edited Monday at 07:15 PM by Massive Monster Kind regards 3 1 1

I think it's because I had to get over the fact that: 1) it wasn't a medley 2) no group choreo Then I rewatched it and saw how brilliant it is. Kind regards
elijahfan 26,928
This was PERFECT to celebrate the greatest song to come out of MAYHEM. The rock mix, the bonkers McQueen outfit, the tech-savvy aspect of the camera work... That's Gaga to her core. If you don't get it, I'm not afraid to ask: what the **** are you even doing here? It's also far from being a simple performance... It's actually a very precise choreography. One false move and she could literally have been hit by the camera. Props to her for making it seem easy. 3

That was quite a dangerous setup, actually.

codymonster 8,753
Someone posted in another thread that the cane Mayhem is carrying in the performance is actually a model of herself: https://x.com/i/status/2018287888249544953 The imagery and symbolism of this performance just continues to build on itself. Mother Mayhem, the pop queen, holding Stefani hostage as she dives head first into art and music on the music industry's biggest stage, being caged by, but also completely glorifying and relishing in, the industry, all while she (Mayhem) tries to feel like she is in control of it all I love this performance so much Edited Monday at 08:25 PM by codymonster 3
InsomniaMonster69 3,548
I just love the way she said to the crowd: this performance is not for you. It’s for the little Monsters watching at home! 🖤

That's all. Edited Monday at 07:53 PM by Gorehound I'm fine, Ta
