It’s the last performance of the era to the public, she should’ve went all out as a celebration of the album. This just was a bad aesthetic choice from the director Dude this WAS an all out celebration of the album! What's not clicking It was a high energy, high fashion performance art piece, made into an alternative industrial rock live rendition with two music legends, and dressed as the Mistress of Mayhem in head to toe McQueen! It was all about celebrating the female producer and the craft of making music - all done in the dark chaotic aesthetic of Mayhem. And it's quintessential Gaga to do something different and unexpected at these kind of shows. All the other stars did big loud choreographed dancey performances, so Gaga turned it on its head and did something artistic and abstract. And she certainly showed her raw talent and star power enough to pull off such magnitude with so little. And saying it was a "bad aesthetic choice" is clearly just an issue with your own personal taste. We will CERTAINLY be remembering and celebrating this performance as one of her best for the rest of our time here. Read through this thread from the beginning - the fact that about 95% of the fans on it have praised it to high heaven and thoroughly dissected the meaning and messaging and everything that went into it goes to show that you're in the wrong here. julz 7,801
Can i just say...she looks really really cool, bringing high unconventional fashion in the mainstream. She brought back the weirdness... Think about it, would the general public know about this being a McQueen piece? No. They will always associate this kind of weird fashion to Gaga. And she is not just wearing it like a costume. She is one with her fashion, and she executes it really well. GET THOSE GRAMS GAGS 1

kimeow 520
I loved the remix, camera work and ofc the McQueen look. that shot with her reflection on the floor is iconic. Vocals started really strong but i didnt love the chaotic bridge, it was a little messy and clearly exhausted her voice by the end of the performance overall a solid performance... but clearly wasn't as well crafted and prepared as most of the Mayhem era has been. (understandable because of the tour and schedule)

I try my best to not see her as this godly figure, but she makes it so hard As a nin fan I kept on wondering today whether Trent has seen the performance and does he take any collab with her into consideration. They both are very selective when it comes to their collaborators, both extremely detail focused, not afraid to reference their idols (Bowie!) and make it their own. ...has anybody seen my disco stick? 1
