uglysexy 205
I just keep rewatching it, it's so good and fresh. Honestly? I prefer this to her VMA performance. I love how industrial and almost futuristic it looks with the robot camera and the lights/stage. A few more details I really enjoy are her slowly reaching and turning her hand towards the drummer in the first shot, the framing and perspective are great. Then the way she crouches down into frame, the mirror shot with the warm light revealing her reflection, her shadow being cast onto Andrew Watt... then that sequence of slanted shots during the chorus. And the red lights exploding during the operatic part, the final moment where she erratically stumbles back to the keyboard!!! Damn how can people not see how cool this is I'm in love, she should use this type of aesthetic more often.

I love her dancing performances, but she has SUCH an intense and passionate energy, and sometimes that gets lost in the choreography, so when she is able to pose and emote and have a little bit more unbridled movement, she really shines on stage.
