yall make excuses if u want

one of her dance heavy tracks needs choreo and high energy not just standing there with blurry camera angles

if u had told me this was a pre show performance i would believe u

But it was a different rendition of the song... I think the camera angles could have been better at times but I vibed with the performance as a whole and think it was cool. She sounded and looked great, and the rock version of the song was to die for

But she could've done something high energy with intense choreo and people still would complain about something. "You can't please everyone"- Gaga

This was yet another example of monsters being hypocritical :lmao:Can't say I'm surprised, but it's getting rather annoying atp

Y'all say you want "experimental", weird, avant-garde stuff. Well, this is it! When you say you want her to experiment more, this is the result of that! Not every performance will be fully choreographed with 15 backup dancers. This is like when people freaked out about the Disease video because it wasn't Gaga looking like every other blonde pop star doing a full-on routine. Some of y'all will never accept—much less enjoy—the experimental/weird Gaga that you want her to be.

The arrangement was great (I need this version of Abra on streaming asap!), the camera movements and her poses were immaculate, and she looked f*cking incredible. A great performance and a great way to reimagine Abra.

Whack them again for me, sister.

She has performed this song a billion times at this point. I'm glad she changed it up. As great as the opening for the MAYHEM Ball is, we did not need a rehash of that. She chose to do something different, and I commend her for that.

The camera angles were cool and the "simplicity" of the performance only highlighted the production and instrumentation. She also looked sickening in that McQueen outfit too. Y'all want "weird" and "experimental" stuff until you actually get it.

I also just can’t at how an artist performing a high energy song without choreography is breaking some stans brains. Is your only exposure to performance pop stars or…?

If you think she’s going to do massive, avant-garde sets again just to prove something like she did on tour, you might as well do it yourself to satisfy the delusional pop fantasies you keep projecting onto Gaga.

This performance was elegant, classic, and pure “I am Lady Gaga,” nothing to prove. This entire year has already proven that. She’s an icon for simply standing there and letting that glambot-esque, still aura speak for itself.

She ATE this, take home ALBUM OF THE YEAR QUEEEEEN!!! :firega:

There are definitely monsters who are pretentious enough to act like they love the "weird, experimental, avant-garde" stuff, yet shallow enough to dislike anything that even remotely goes into those territories.

EART HL I NG

I really enjoyed the cinematography of this performance. The off center angles were really interesting and sort of invoked a feeling of chaos (or mayhem :cheeky:)  and uneasiness, sort of like an art house horror vibe, which I think paired well with the gothic lamp shade/eye/venus flytrap onion bulb headpiece ensemble.

Now release a studio version of this rendition à la Disease acoustic please

True!!!

It honestly feels elegant, very “I am the queen.” I don’t need to move or do weird circus tricks performances like everyone else has planned and been doing.

And the vocals? HELLO?

This feels like a legendary-level artist performing because they only asked or begged her to. :ladyhaha:

its not just choreo, she stood in one spot, the camera was zoomed in on one half of her body and the lighting was so bare you could barely see her. its lazy whether yall wanna admit it or not

standing in one spot with weird camera angles and an ikea lamp shade looking head piece doesnt make something avante garde. abra isnt an avant garde song, its typical dance pop.....
