Mayhem deserves by miles but Ms Brina is mega popular rn with the public and industry and we can't ignore how her peak can lead to the win. Meanwhile I see sabrina taking best pop vocal performance and best music video for manchild. However, it seems to be a trend that you don't win this category twice unless you're like a legend (this award has been given 32 times, and only three artists managed to win twice: Adele in a 2/3, and Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift with a 2/6). Olivia won with Sour, then lost to Taylor's Midnight with Guts. Billie won with WWAFA,WDWG?, then lost to Olivia's Sour (the new main pop girl) with HTE. Dua won with Future Nostalgia, then she wasn't even nominated for Radical Optimism. Sabrina managed to get a second nomination in a row because she knew how to take advantage of her momentum, but I do think voters might've seen Man's Best Friend as a weaker version of Short n' Sweet, which really doesn't do her any favors. Other than her, everyone in the category seems like a weak choice (Miley does not have the success, and Teddy and Justin are more R&B than Pop), and the Pop voters love a comeback like Gaga did, plus she's already an established legend and the second person with most wins in the Pop field, so obviously they do love her.
