The ad is literally a clear political message that aligns with everything she ever stood for. Especially the core message of her Super Bowl performance. She got a company to pay 8million/30sec to get her message of togetherness, showing compassion and standing together and strong on the screen.

Gaga was always extremely careful about when and how she speaks up. Not because she was scared, but because she wanted to do the cause justice and she wanted to use the best moment for the RIGHT impact. And she rarely misses, but for over a decade you guys care more for her to instantly react to anything, as aggressively and radical as possible, instead of letting her chose her message wisely.

I feel like this is a bit pointed in the wrong direction.. like I get the disappointment of her not speaking out explicitly against ICE. It sucks. But we all know she absolutely doesn’t LIKE it or agree with it? She’s still in Japan, yeah? I remember someone saying speaking out could jeopardize her safety while traveling around so much. 
 

Honestly I could see her talking about during the DC shows if not when she gets back to the states. The song itself is clearly a response to ICE. It’s her own blatant rebellion in the way she’s always spoken out: with music. 
 

Who gives a sh it about rocketmoney. That’s not what people are taking away from this.

Be for real.. She was always strategic about when to use her voice and how to use it to get the biggest reaction. Just because there were times where she screamed her views from the roof top, that doesn’t mean it wasn’t extremely calculated and timed for maximal impact.
