Quite liked it, but I think now the rollout was unlucky in a way. Releasing 4 really strong singles before the album is risky, especially when a good chunk of the album are interludes. As an invested fan I now only have 4-5 new songs and the album release feels a little meh. Don't get me wrong, the entire thing is really really good, but I'm now feeling like the guy who I've been making out with for the last few weeks just came in his undies before I could even tickle his balls - if that makes sense. I was in the exact same situation with Robyn's 2018 Honey rollout, but after a week or so it all felt coherent again (the "old" and new songs) and to this day it's in my Top5 records of all time. And I definitely think they released too many singles in advance. But it works really well. I love that it plays and feels like a fully blended DJ set rather than just a collection of songs like a lot of dance pop albums do.
